Erin Bakker

Principal

Erin Bakker is a dynamic and visionary professional, known for her expertise in creative consulting and strategic brand development. Erin describes herself as a “serial entrepreneur” with a “can do'' attitude. As co-founder of the Santa Rosa Beach marketing firm, The Hive Creative Consulting, Erin has built a reputation for delivering innovative solutions and driving impactful outcomes for her clients.

With her strategic mindset, artistic flair, and unwavering commitment to client success, Erin is a trusted partner for organizations seeking to unleash their creative potential and achieve their business objectives. Her passion for storytelling and her ability to connect with diverse audiences have consistently translated into enhanced brand recognition, increased customer engagement, and accelerated business growth.

 

Prior to founding The Hive, Erin owned children’s art education company, Abrakadoodle, where she honed her skills in brand strategy, digital marketing, and education management to win her franchise numerous international awards and accolades. For the last decade, Erin has led the marketing and business development of her husband’s company Specialty Roofers, and she recently added their new sister company, Specialty Metals, to her list of happy clients.

 

Erin holds a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University, where she served as president of Phi Mu, along with being a Panhellenic board member and Who’s Who of Auburn University. Erin met her husband, Cole, at Auburn in 2004. They married in 2007, and have three children, Jackson, Brantley, and Hunter Grace, along with a white English Labrador named Barkley. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, tennis and outdoor entertaining.

Sarah White

Principal

Sarah was passionate about communicating from a young age. In fact, her third-grade teacher affectionately nicknamed her the, “Loud Mouth of the South.” Thankfully, she’s refined her communication skills since then. With nearly 20 years of experience, Sarah has developed a diverse skill set that spans across all areas of the communications field, including public relations, marketing, event planning and fundraising. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in large corporations, small businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations, enabling her to broaden her experience across different industries. 

Originally from Pensacola, Sarah followed in her parents' footsteps to attend the University of Florida in 2002. After graduating with a degree in Public Relations, she worked in Orlando and Jacksonville before moving back to the Emerald Coast in 2011. Before joining The Hive Creative Consulting in 2018, Sarah operated a small invitation and party printables business. Prior to that, she worked as the Public Information Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County and served as the sole marketing person for Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. During her time at The Hive, Sarah served as the Director of Public Relations and handled all media relations for the agency's clients, in addition to managing her own accounts.  Since then, Sarah has continued to provide marketing services to clients on a retainer and freelance basis through her company, SBW Creative Consulting.

 

Sarah met her husband, Dan, shortly after moving back to the Emerald Coast in 2011. They married in 2013, and have two children, Harrison and Hadley, along with a goldendoodle, Georgia and sheepadoodle, Lincoln. In her free time, she enjoys boating, traveling and gardening.

Lindsay Lord

Managing Partner

Lindsay is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with a proven track record of stewarding national brands, engaging diverse audiences and employee experience initiatives. With a background spanning commercial real estate, construction, and healthcare REITs, Lindsay excels at understanding client needs and delivering fresh, innovative ideas that drive business growth and foster long-lasting relationships.

As Managing Partner at Beespoke Consulting, Lindsay serves as a seamless extension of her clients’ teams, developing tailored strategies that enhance brand visibility and performance. Prior to joining Beespoke, she spent nine years as Manager of Property Marketing for Welltower, where she oversaw strategic marketing initiatives across a national portfolio. Before that, she served as Marketing Experience Manager for DeKalb Office in Nashville, Tennessee, where she honed her skills in brand storytelling and client engagement.

Lindsay attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising. Born and raised on the Emerald Coast, Lindsay now lives in Fort Walton Beach with her husband, Drew Lord of DL3 Construction, their two children, Demi and Rhett, and their dachshund, Turbo. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and training Turbo for the annual Halloweener derby.
